Handsome Eggshell Mosaic Earrings - Natural Colors

These eggshell (yes, REAL eggshells) earrings have a beautiful texture - and layers of natural colors.

Mounted on a base of hardwood (surprisingly lightweight!) the eggshell surface is divided by a narrow wood divider to enhance the visual interest.

They're really quite beautiful.

The pieces have been finished with several protective layers of acrylic. They are water and UV resistant (not water PROOF)

The back of each earring is painted with several layers of warm earthy colors to match the front, and features a hand-formed and hammered copper bail and a hand-made copper ear wire.

These earrings will be shipped in a handsome black box with my studio logo. The box is lined with cotton and can be presented as a gift as-is, or if you're gifting YOURSELF (!) the box will provide a safe place to store them when not in use.
